IT, BT, animation and gaming conference

Hi Tech Pune Maharashtra 2008, a three day IT, BT, animation and gaming conference was hosted by Pune vyaspeeth and co-hosted by Govt of Maharashtra. This conference provided a forum for professionals from IT, BT, animation and gaming communities to interact and network with prospective business, government and educational community. The world is capturing the spirit of entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, and challenges of the fascinating sunrise sectors of IT, biotechnology, gaming and animation. This conference addressed some of the challenges in the new sunrise industry and also talked about the next wave of opportunities.

India’s top IT companies 2008 - 28th February 2008, Bangalore


Dun and Bradstreet's released the second edition of its premium publication India's Top IT Companies 2008 in this event. The publication highlights the performance of the top IT players in India. A nationwide survey of Indian IT companies was carried out by D&B, evaluating companies, which is a source of valuable information on the IT industry in the country. Company listings profiled in this publication have been selected on various parameters, viz., location, company size, total income, services offered and operating verticals.

The event was also incorporated by a panel discussion about the” Indian IT Industry – the road ahead”. The Panel key discussion topic was around growth drivers – can we sustain them in the near future.

UBICS has been featured as one of "India's Top IT Companies 2008" by Dun and Bradstreet (D&B) in its premier publication. UBICS Director Mr. Sunil Patil, was one of the panelist members on the day of the event along with Canon India Pvt Ltd, Senior Vice President (Sales and Marketing) Mr. Alok Bhardwaj, Core Projects and Technologies, CEO Mr. Prakash Gupta, Bharti Airtel VP and Business Head-IT and ITES Mr. Ashish Arora.
