CANONSBURG, PA, MARCH 30, 2004, UBICS, Inc. (OOTC: UBIX), a global professional IT services organization, announced that it has selected BMC Software, a leading provider of enterprise management solutions, for sales and maintenance of specific BMC Software® solutions including PATROL® system management, SmartDBA database administrator (DBA) productivity, and SQL BackTrack for DB backup and recovery.
UBICS' wide range of IT clients and experience complements BMC Software's industry-leading line of proactive solutions for managing the IT environment. Through its relationship with UBICS, BMC Software is further extending its products to a broader range of IT clientele, particularly in the mid-market segment.
