July 23, 2002 - UBICS Focusing on Sales and Marketing, Adding
to Global Delivery

CANONSBURG, PA, July 23, 2002 . UBICS, Inc. (NASDAQ: UBIX), announced today that
it has reorganized its sales and marketing organization, adding two Sales Vice Presidents
and a Director of Marketing to help leverage UBICS' new global IT delivery capabilities.
Over the past 18-months UBICS has been strategically focusing on developing a more
robust technology solutions organization. With the acquisition of SquareRadius (Scottsdale,
Arizona), DSF Internet (Delhi, India), Oakwood (London, England), and the expansion
of UBICS Bangalore from a staff-recruiting center to include IT Software Development,
UBICS is now poised to offer complete solutions, including offshore/on-shore development.
UBICS. capabilities include IT staffing, front-end web development, branding, and
graphic design, as well as back-end database engineering, system integration, network
administration and custom application development with the flexibility of developing
offshore or on-shore.

Bill Miralia joined UBICS as Senior Vice President, Sales and Operations. Bill will
manage all of UBICS' national professional staffing sales. Bill has vast experience
in sales management and operations.
He joined Mastech Emplifi as a VP of Sales in November 2001. Prior to joining Mastech
Emplifi, Bill was the VP of Sales for Directfit.com, a million IT 'B2B hiring solution'
which leverages the internet to expedite the skills matching of technical resources
to client requirements. Bill also spent 6 years at Alternative Resources Corporation,
a million national provider of IT staffing and Outsourcing Solutions where he served
in several different capacities from general management to Regional Director and
finally to VP of Sales and Field Operations for all 55 branch locations across North
America.

In addition, Greg Doyle joined UBICS as Vice President, Solutions Sales, a newly
created position within UBICS. Doyle will manage all of UBICS. national solution
sales efforts, which includes SquareRadius, a Scottsdale-based subsidiary of UBICS.
Greg Doyle has extensive experience in sales, sales management, eBusiness consulting,
finance and Internet-related business experience. Throughout his career, Greg has
been very successful analyzing complex business problems and providing significant
world-class operations in the Internet environment. Greg has serviced high-profile
clients for professional service enterprises such as iXL, Sapient and EDS. Viacom,
AT&T, Hewlett-Packard, Nokia and Time Warner are a just few of the clients he has
helped.

Patrick Servino has also joined the UBICS' team as the company's new Director of
Marketing. Patrick will be responsible for defining, developing and measuring all
of UBICS' marketing communications, which includes SquareRadius, a Scottsdale-based
subsidiary of UBICS.
Patrick has extensive experience integrating online, direct mail, advertising, public
relations, collateral and event strategies. Patrick has developed and executed comprehensive
marketing plans for companies such as BellSouth and ARAMARK Corporation. He also
worked in account management for the global advertising agency McCann-Erickson.
Bob Harbage, UBICS. CEO, said, 'We needed innovative sales and marketing leadership
that had solid experience in leveraging global delivery capabilities. Currently,
we are known for our IT consulting and professional staffing services, but need
to successfully bring to market our new integrated solutions offering. As UBICS

resources. After an extensive search for the right candidates, Bill, Greg and Patrick
