Dr. Vijay Mallya (Chairman and
CEO, UBICS, Inc.)

Dr. Vijay Mallya, Ph.D., has been chairman of UBICS- an affiliate of the UB Group - since its inception in July 1993. Headquartered in India, the UB Group is a multinational organization of more than 60 companies. It focuses principally on the business areas of beverage alcohol, engineering, agriculture, chemicals, life sciences, and information technology. Dr. Mallya has been highly instrumental in the growth of the UB Group, which resulted in India's first multinational business conglomerate.

As a former member of India's parliament, Dr. Mallya holds 12 chairmanships. He is a committee member of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI). Other memberships include The Institute of Economic Studies, India, and the World Economic Forum. Dr. Mallya was conferred a Doctorate of Philosophy in Business Administration by Southern California University, Irvine.

Mr. Patil has served as CEO of Ventive, LLC and President of Integral Strategies, Inc., two successful IT companies he co-founded in 2000 and 1996 respectively. In 1995, Mr. Patil founded Expert Resources, Inc., an IT consulting company, which he led to dynamic growth and attracted leading corporations and government agencies as customers.
